DIVE Bundaberg's Dive Charter Boat

4x4 and dive charter boat image

At DIVE Bundaberg we think our boat is just about unsinkable, with a very large load capacity and unique stability characteristics. Getting you to the dive site can be as pleasurable as the dive itself aboard our
Little Ripper.

The Perfect Dive Charter Boat

Jarrod Banks, the business proprietor of DIVE Bundaberg and captain of the dive charter boat Little Ripper, did a lot of research to obtain the most suitable dive vessel for the local conditions around Bundaberg. The boat had to meet specific requirements and ensure diver's safety, comfort and protection. Jarrod was convinced that the New Zealand made Stabi-craft 609 Hard Top was the perfect solution.

Stabi-craft Boat

Stabi-craft boats are used across the world to preform water rescues and patrols in all weather conditions.

Stabi-craft prides itself on being SAFE - using their world leading boat design and building boats to the highest quality, the result is a virtually unsinkable boat.

Little Ripper

Little Ripper is also STABLE - the unique, highly stable hull design allows for greater payloads and tougher seas to be navigated.

The appropriately named vessel Little Ripper has everything that Stabi-craft offers in a dive boat. All diving equipment is stowed away securely leaving enough room for 6 divers to comfortably walk around. Divers are protected from wind, sun and sea spray, making the day out diving a lot more enjoyable.

Little Ripper is powered by a 2006 model Evinrude High Output 200HP E-TEC engine. This motor is quiet, reliable and packs a lot of punch. The E-TEC engine produces an exceptionally low amount of exhaust and amazingly low carbon monoxide emissions, for a cleaner, safer environment. No smelly exhaust fumes on this boat!

Evinrude E-TEC motors meet the stringent 2006 EPA,
EV & 2008 Carb 3-star Ultra low emissions standards.

Scuba diving the Cochrane artificial reef was awesome and is definitely up there amongst my most memorable experiences!!
James Braund, Grafton, NSW Australia, 28-10-06

The Cochrane artificial reef was a spectacular scuba diving site, the highlight was a 500 pound Queensland Grouper inside the "Kingair" airplane wreck. Thanks Jarrod!
Louise Krause, Germany, 18-10-06

Ship wrecks, plane wrecks, great variety of marine life... I'll definitely be coming back!
