Dive Trip 1

Cochrane Artificial Reef diving trip

shipwreck

One of Bundaberg's best places to scuba dive, with ship wrecks, sunken planes, and steel structures. These underwater monoliths have become an oasis for vibrantly coloured marine creatures. It's a diver's visual smorgasboard down there!

Water Temperature: Minimum 18C in winter to a very warm 30C in summer

Visibility: Generally
5 - 15m

Cochrane Artificial Reef Dive Trip

My name is Daniel Chadwick and I am a PADI dive master with over 1200 dives. I recently scuba dived with DIVE Bundaberg on one of their dive trips at the Cochrane Artificial Reef. Jarrod Banks, the skipper of the dive charter boat is a top bloke; not only was he extremely professional but he was a great laugh and made my scuba diving trip very enjoyable.

Scuba diving the Cochrane artificial reef was awesome and is definitely up there amongst my most memorable experiences!!
James Braund, Grafton, NSW Australia, 28-10-06

The Cochrane artificial reef was a spectacular scuba diving site, the highlight was a 500 pound Queensland Grouper inside the "Kingair" airplane wreck. Thanks Jarrod!
Louise Krause, Germany, 18-10-06

Ship wrecks, plane wrecks, great variety of marine life... I'll definitely be coming back!
Leyla Keller, former student of Bundaberg Aqua Scuba - Learn to Dive, 21-09-06

Can highly recommend the Cochrane artificial reef as a scuba dive not to miss out on while in Bundaberg.
